Jamey Johnson - Between Jennings and Jones??
The show last night was much longer than I expected, so you could say we got our money's worth. Trouble is, half the crowd had left or at least gone back and sat down before the best part of the show happened. I would have gladly traded a few replays of old favorites sung the Johnson way for some of the 18 different slow melodies that bored the audience to departure during the middle of the show. JR Richards is a very likeable performer, but needs to show a little more concern for the fan base and liven up the show a bit. Realizing his song base is emerging, doing a few replays of Haggard, Jones, Jennings, Cash or Nelson would have been well received by the crowd. He needs a little help on the entertainer role. JR Richards is a great singer and an outstanding song writer.
